These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by MW Pages (“MW Pages,” “we,” “us,” “our”) to you (“Client”). By purchasing any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms in accordance with Canadian contract law.


1. Services
1.1 Website Design (One-Time Fee)
The Website Design fee covers:
• A custom one-page website designed according to the Client’s requirements
• Delivery of the completed website hosted via MW Pages
• Revisions as outlined during the project scope
This service includes design only. It does not include hosting, domain registration, DNS setup, or ongoing maintenance unless the Client is subscribed to Website Management.


1.2 Website Management (Monthly Subscription)
The Website Management plan includes:
• Hosting of the website
• Domain registration and renewal
• DNS configuration
• Security, backups, and performance maintenance
• Minor content updates (text/images) as requested by the Client
• Ongoing website monitoring and management


1.3 Major Changes & Additional Work
Any major website changes requested by the Client — including redesigns, new sections, new functionality, or significant structural updates — are not included in the Website Management plan. Such work will require a separate quote and a one-time payment before the work begins.


2. Payment & Subscription
The Website Design fee is a one-time cost due before site goes live.
The Website Management Plan is a recurring monthly subscription charged automatically until cancelled by the customer.


3. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel the Website Management Plan at any time. Upon cancellation, the website will go offline immediately. MW Pages is not responsible for providing hosting or site access once the subscription is cancelled. The Client may request domain transfer upon cancellation. Registrar rules, timelines, and applicable transfer fees may apply.

4. Ownership

4.1 Content Ownership
The Client owns all written content, images, logos, and branding materials they provide.
The Client is responsible for ensuring they have legal rights to all materials supplied.

4.2 Website Design Ownership
Once the Website Design fee is paid in full (if applicable), the Client owns the design concept and overall visual layout.
MW Pages retains ownership and control of the website files, templates, and platform used to build the site.

4.3 Hosting & Platform Ownership
All websites created by MW Pages are hosted exclusively through the MW Pages Website Management Plan.
The website files, platform configuration, and hosting environment are not transferable.
If the Client cancels the Website Management Plan, the website will go offline and MW Pages is not required to provide the website files or code for external hosting.

4.4 Domain Ownership & Management
If MW Pages purchases a domain on behalf of the Client, the domain will be registered in the Client’s name for legal ownership.
The domain will be managed within MW Pages’ registrar account for technical convenience (DNS, renewals, configuration).
If the Client cancels the Website Management Plan, they may request a transfer of the domain to their own registrar account at no cost. Any outstanding renewal fees must be paid before transfer.

4.5 Client Responsibilities
• Provide accurate, lawful content
• Ensure they have rights to all text, images, and media supplied
• Communicate approvals and required revisions in a timely manner
MW Pages is not responsible for copyright or legal issues arising from Client-provided materials.


5. Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable once site is live or once a subscription month has started.


6. Privacy
Any personal or business information you provide will be used solely for delivering services and will not be shared with third parties.


7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Nova Scotia.
